Its actual pendulum piece appears at first glance to only be a conical amethyst point caped in a large, ornate silvertone cap. This cap however unscrews to reveal a small secret chamber that can be filled with anointing oil or whatever you can imagine to lend power to your divination.

The actual pendulum piece itself measures approximately 2" long and comes strung upon a 7" silvertone chain ending in a small bead to keep it from slipping from your grasp.
